This master class is suitable for beginners who would like to learn about the drawing techniques used to create perspective and watercolours of one of Nîmes’ heritage sites.

With these techniques, you’ll be able to learn the basics of an effective method that is used to create images like this as quickly as possible. Shadows and colour will then be added to the black and white drawing. It is important to find out about the different steps involved in taking the initial ideas and creating a drawing from them, and to also learn about the difficulties to overcome in this type of exercise.

By Jean-Claude Golvin, architect and researcher, curator of the exhibition.
