Mid-length historic film showcasing the Northern French Celtic tribe, the Ambiani. A voyage of discovery sees the son of a tribal chief immersed in the guts of Gallic culture. This film highlights the life of this tribe at the beginning of the Gallic wars in the 1st century BCE, when some of the Gallic tribes started to join forces while Caesar’s armies seemed determined to create a permanent home for themselves in Gaul. The screening will be followed by a discussion with “Les Ambiani”
