Tales, Dances and Music
This show and concert by a collective of artists who teach at the conservatory of Nîmes was inspired by all the collections of the Musée de la Romanité and its ‘Living Memory – Oliver Laric’ exhibition. As you make your way around the museum, you’ll be able to hear pieces by Ravel and Debussy referencing the ancient world, a new version of Britten’s Metamorphoses and the original creation Métamorphonies by Gary Yershon. The movements, words and sounds ‘correspond… That sing the ecstasy of the soul and senses.’
In partnership with the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental de Nîmes
