Guided tour & workshop for 6-10 year olds followed by an afternoon snack every second Wednesday of the month

The Romans loved live shows, especially theatre. With the help of some everyday objects discovered during digs, this tour raises the curtains on a popular form of entertainment in Ancient Rome. What did the structures where plays were put on look like ? What about the actors ? Then we head to the studio to make a theatre mask. Comedy or tragedy ? Old person, young man or young woman ? The children bring to life the character they want to portray and the role they want to play.
