In partnership with the Théâtre de Nîmes
With Lydie Fuerte (guitar) and Eva Luisa (dance)
Guitarist Lydie Fuerte draws her inspiration from music from around the world to create a unique melting-pot landscape. Eva Luisa’s dancing embodies the distinctive, seductive and powerful character of flamenco. She immerses herself in Lydie’s soundscape, revealing the sensitivity and intensity of her melodies.
Inspired by the museum’s collections, the two artistes have chosen to adapt their show “Luz” to reflect them. The unusual encounter between the works on show and their duet offers a sensitive, poetic testimony to the link that unites our time with past civilisations.
