As part of the ‘Achilles & the Trojan War’ exhibition
Creating an exhibition on the legend of Achilles is a real challenge. How can such a complex story be told, how can we overcome the stereotypes this hero has been given and untangle the events of the Trojan War? By calling upon the imagination, that’s how!
For this exhibition, the Musée de la Romanité has selected around a hundred objects, ranging from antique artworks to small objects of everyday life. They will be presented with large-scale video frescoes created by artistic film-maker Dominik Barbier.
At this conference, the exhibition curator and the artist himself will give a presentation of the ‘Achilles and the Trojan War’ exhibition.
