La Table du 2

La Table du 2 is a Michelin-starred brasserie and the menu is concocted by chef Franck Putelat.
The brasserie is in a magical setting on the 2nd floor of the Musée de la Romanité, overlooking the Arena of Nîmes. They serve regional products at affordable prices, with a warm welcome, great service and a relaxed atmosphere.

What’s so special about this brasserie?
Two Michelin-starred chefs concoct the menu together each season.
Franck Putelat has had 2 Michelin stars since 2012, and was also awarded the Bocuse d’Argent in 2003, and a rating of 17/20 in the Gault et Millau guide. This chef is behind the menu and manages the kitchen staff.
But because food is all about sharing, each year Franck Putelat is joined by an international chef who proposes one dish per season.

The restaurant is decorated in a warm, inviting and refined style, with a magnificent view of the Arena, and blends perfectly into the architectural style of the building. There are 75 seats indoors and 50 outdoors.

The auditorium

The 182-seat auditorium, a key place for the museum, was designed by the RBC group and overlooks the archaeological gardens. This fantastic venue is where much of the cultural programme is organised all year round: conferences, lectures, lessons for the Ecole du Louvre, etc.
The foyer next to the auditorium can be used as a welcome area, for relaxation or cocktail receptions, making the whole venue particularly well-adapted for companies looking to organise a seminar, meeting or other corporate event at the museum.
