It wasn’t easy to get your bearings on a medieval battlefield! Friend or enemy ? That’s where coats of arms came in : helping you tell who’s who. With their practised eyes, the young budding knights will identify the coats of arms hidden in some of the museum’s artworks. Then, they’ll make their own coat of arms, making sure to follow the very specific rules that have been in place for almost 900 years !
